We offer you the following recipe, which, if done the right thing, for the taste characteristics most similar to the original. The basis of this recipe for Becherovka, a fortress of 38%, is moonshine, and not alcohol, because moonshine during processing destroys the aroma and specific taste.

Thus, the ingredients:
  • 1 liter of domestic high-quality moonshine;
  • 150 grams of sugar;
  • 250 grams of clean drinking water (not tap water!);
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest;
  • 2 cardamom seeds;
  • 10 kidney cloves;
  • 8 peas black pepper;
  • Half a teaspoon of anise;
  • 1 cinnamon stick.

     Grind orange zest, crushed cardamom seeds and cinnamon, add the cloves, black pepper, anise and pour moonshine still and mix. The resulting mixture in a tightly closed, at room temperature, insist week. Then make sugar syrup: over low heat to dissolve the sugar, not boiling. The syrup is cooled and mixed with existing infusion. Again, all tightly closed, and insist another 4 days. Before use, filter out all the seasonings and spices.
